Jax Turcotte is a Canadian alternative singer-songwriter from Toronto, Ontario. Inspired by the diverse musical repertoire he was raised on and the alternative music of the 2000s, Jax’s music combines vulnerable lyricism with various accompaniment to create works that are unique yet widely interpretable. Jax has been an avid music fan from infancy and sang before he could converse. Yet he did not begin to accompany himself until he was ten years old; starting with the guitar, then piano, then eventually learning to create his own songs. Jax released his first EP “Lance” in 2023 at the age of 16, which was composed of five songs that were written and performed by Jax Turcotte. Jax began working with The Singer’s Company for the production of his song “Sincerely, Once Beloved” that was released on April 5, 2025.
